It's kinda close now..

Hi chaps,

So the 10 day forecast is saying dry and 20 degrees, fingers crossed we don't need brollies!

There are just a couple of bits to let you know before next Friday:

Firstly the alcohol. As we put in our invites we are effectively having a p*ss up in a brewery so will not run out of beer. We also shouldn't run out of red and white wine, however we are requesting that everyone brings a bottle to contribute to the communal bar - be that wine or spirits (we will have a LOT of mixers so don't worry about those). If however you want to bring something specific / special to drink you're more than welcome to hang onto it rather than hand it over to the bar - totally your choice.

Secondly we have rather cheesily set up a wedpics page to capture everyone's photos from the day. It's here: https://www.wedpics.com and the ID is jen&chris. It can be downloaded as an IoS or Android App too. 

We've had a couple of questions about dress code too. It's basically gorgeous wedding wear but no need for hats etc unless you're a big fan of a titfer. 

Lastly, for those of you joining us for the ceremony we have booked cabs to take you all from Shoreditch to London Fields Brewery at 3.45, so the lovely Tom will be ushering you all in addison lee people carriers (which will have been paid for). And at the end of the night a local cab firm's cards will be available at the venue if needed.

Oh wow

Only 10(ish) days to go until our big day.

The hydrangeas are drying beautifully, the music is all picked (thank you for your contributions!), Chris' fancy new accessories have arrived and I pick my dress up on Thursday. Eeek.

We really can't wait to see you all and think we've told you everything you need to know, but if you have any questions about the big day - where it is, where to park, what time you need to be there, what to bring, where to stay, what time it finishes (midnight by the way..) - just holler!

It’s T minus 22 days so we hope your baking skills are being honed.

Can you let me know if you are going to be entering a cake and if so let me know (just me, so it’s secret) what you’re going to make. It can be an actual cake, or brownies or cake pops or anything you fancy delighting us with.

The more the merrier so please do get involved!

This way we will have a 'cake buffet' of visual delights for everyone to savour long after the marzipan rush would have faded.

Hydrangeas & RSVPs

Hello friends and family,

Plans are coming along nicely and with only 60 odd days to go it's keeping us rather busy.

We are still on the hunt for beautiful hydrangeas ready to be picked and dried so do holler if you have access to a bush or two!

Apart from that keep sending through your RSVP's as soon as you know and let us know of any dietary requirements (including pescetarian requests etc).

There will be a cake competition on the day with a top top prize, so go for gold, glory and delicious goo - and do let us know which cake you'll be entering so we can make sure we display it beautifully.

Finally as you'll have seen there isn't a cash bar so we're asking everyone nicely to contribute a bottle of your favourite tipple (unless it's beer as we certainly won't be running out of that in a brewery!). If anyone would rather have it delivered to us so you don't have to lug it around on the day then just say and we'll make arrangements.
